How to Transfer Facebook Page Ownership

The most efficient way is to make the new owner an Admin on the page. Then remove yourself as Admin. To be able to do this, you must be an admin of the Facebook Page and you must use a desktop computer. 

To change the owner of a Facebook page;

1. Go to your Facebook Page.

2. Click on Settings in the left navigation.

3. Go to Page Roles. 

For the next step to work, you need to make sure that there is at least one other active and approved admin member assigned to the business page.

4. Scroll down to the Admin section and click on edit to remove the user. Once removed, that user will no longer be be the owner of the Facebook Page.
